Even after 300 years, Isaac Newton’s law of universal gravitation is the basis of modern physics. More contemporary than ever is his quotation:”What we know is a drop. What we don’t know is an ocean.” In our fast-paced 21st century, technological developments age with increasingly shorter time span. It has become nearly impossible to keep track of on-going innovations with our rather busy day-to-day business.
The Academy’s program is geared towards representatives and staff of private enterprises, who – within the context of internal environment policy - are aiming at optimizing their water supply, wastewater disposal, solid waste management, environmental management, as well as their power supply, by utilizing renewable energy sources. As we are facing an increasingly limited supply of resources, cost cutting, increase in efficiency and reduction of environmental impact have become key aspects of business management. Academy seminar participants include representatives of governmental and semi-governmental institutions as well as regulatory agencies governing water, wastewater, energy and environment, and staff of private planning and engineering offices.
The seminar program of the Environment Academy Hof is primarily geared towards international clients.
